We wanted to cap our 25th season on national television with a BIG project, and it doesn't get much bigger than making over a battleship! 😊 . Next week, the ENTIRE "Today's Homeowner" cast and crew will join a team of volunteers and sponsors to do just that at ‪@USSALABAMA60‬, one of our state's top tourist attractions. . I'm VERY excited about this #BattleshipMakeover project. Folks will be mowing the lawn, landscaping, pressure washing, painting the ship, and making this landmark look its best! . It already feels like a barn-raising. Except, in this case, we're all coming together to beautify a memorial that calls to mind those who served and sacrificed during World War II. . Stay tuned for updates on the project, because you're going to see plenty of them right here on our social media channels. . In the meantime, I'm usually the expert helping homeowners, but today I'm the apprentice, watching a metalworking pro create something VERY unique. .
