These types of videos are my favorite. I feel like a lot of people (myself included) have been struggling with so much over the last few years. Your thoughts on perception and Perfect Blue were not only cathartic but so well thought out and articulated. It’s up there for me now with your analysis of Godot and the play he was named after (which is one of my fav pieces of analyses ever!) I hope you feel proud of what you’ve made : ) it’s brilliant! We need more brilliance these days, out in the open, where it’s not about being eye-catching or shiny but being honest and present.

i super enjoyed ! i really like videos like this that analyze many different pieces of media at once through their similar throughlines, it's like a little constellation strung together, and I think the anecdotes make it shine even brighter. great stuff !! :D

Literally sent the video to my partner since we both really enjoyed the film (great for online date night LMAO). Perfect Blue is really fun but I don't often see a lot of people singularly lock onto the idea vs the self along with the obvious themes of how we treat public figures. Anyway. Yay :)

I'll be honest, I've been waiting for the right time to watch this one. This seems like the type of video that I'd want to really engross myself in. And I think 3:30 AM when my entire family is asleep is probably the best time for that. See ya in an hour or so!
