They say November is men's health month... so here is your annual reminder to check your balls!

A couple of years ago, I found a lump on my testicle. I was referred to hospital, and further referred on to testicular cancer specialist to find that I had Testicular Microlithiasis (a rare but harmless condition causing calcified lumps on your testes) in addition to finding I had a varicocele. If you follow my second channel, you may also know I have recently become infertile.

The NHS recommends checking your balls roughly once per month for any issues. Nothing is too small or insignificant to take seriously, always check with your GP if you feel anything abnormal. Never be embarrassed or hesitant, your doctor is there to help!

I understand the majority of my YouTube audience is female. If so, please encourage the men in your life to check themselves regularly.

Have a wonderful day x

I’m mum to 3 wonderful sons and a beautiful daughter .They’re all well into adulthood now (yes an old lady watches your channels) 😂and I’ve always encouraged the lads to ‘check their balls and chest as breast cancer affects men too.One of my boys found a lump and luckily it was just a cyst.My daughter can be stubborn but I’ve told her just check your boobs and anything that’s not normal to you period wise too.Gotta keep an eye on the foo foo too

It is an important message to spread. I have a brother who had testicular caner at 17. Caught it early and he survived

@scoobykitty

Good for you for this reminder. My sister's husband was treated successfully for testicular cancer when he was in his twenties,so it can happen to you even if you are very young. Good news is that it is almost always treatable when you catch it early.❤️

We should all know enough about men’s health to support the men we might have in our lives. I love that you do this announcement each year.

Love that you’re spreading awareness. A lot of parents didn’t even teach this. Love your body; no shame. ❤

Thank you for using your platform for something so important! Genital health is important no matter who you are, but genital health of those with testes is so often overlooked and not really talked about as much. You rock!❤
