This is a long one, so please, bear with me. I couldn't find any peace or sleep comfortably last night without first finishing the writing of this post...

On Wednesday, September 10th, 2025, the unthinkable happened. ‪@RealCharlieKirk‬ was assassinated in broad daylight on a college campus in Utah. Shocking & Vile.

That uneasy, sickening feeling you carry inside right now is because we all watched a fellow man, a brother in Christ, take his last breath. If you have a heart, that moment took a piece of your soul & shattered it. It did mine.

It is more than a tragedy. It is a war. A war not only on free speech & open dialogue in America, but also a war on faith & on speaking the name of Jesus Christ openly & without fear.

Charlie Kirk was a great man. To say anything less would be dishonest. In just 31 years, he accomplished more than most people do in an entire lifetime. He was never afraid of open debate or honest discussion. He carried his faith proudly, like a badge of honor. He spoke the truth with conviction, backing every word with evidence, and never shying away from defending the Gospel with clarity & courage.

Charlie also had a sense of humor. He wasn’t thin-skinned & he knew how to laugh at himself. When South Park poked fun at him, he didn’t lash out, he changed his profile picture to Cartman, proud to take the joke in stride. That was Charlie, strong, sharp, but never fragile.

He was a patriot who loved his country. He was a husband, a father & a man of unshakable faith. In many ways, he stood among the ranks of past voices for truth, similar to MLK, Malcolm X, or Abraham Lincoln. He became a martyr for what he believed.

Let's be clear on this. This was no random act. It was a targeted attack. An assault on Charlie Kirk, on free speech & on every American who dares to live by faith & principle. It sends a chilling message, if your voice doesn’t serve the agenda, you will be silenced, even by death.

While I didn’t agree with every stance Charlie held, I deeply respected his devotion to the Gospel. He never wavered in proclaiming Jesus Christ, even knowing it could cost him everything. And now, in a world where speaking the name of Jesus might put a target on your back, Charlie’s sacrifice speaks even louder.

There is comfort in knowing he is with the Lord, that his purpose here on earth fulfilled & he now rests in the arms of God, but my heart aches knowing his children will grow up without their father, because of senseless violence against a man of simple faith.

They may have silenced his voice, but they cannot silence his message. His movement lives on. His truth lives on. His faith lives on.

I am Charlie Kirk.
