Hello, I was recently permanently suspended from ZEPETO for a violation regarding my club profile content. The reason given was โsexual behavior and nudity.โ Iโve already been suspended twice before, so this time it was a permanent ban. However, my club profile picture was a selfie of the member โKim Woonhakโ from the idol group โBOYNEXTDOOR.โ I think this is clearly a mistake by ZEPETO. To be honest, Iโm older compared to the average age group of ZEPETO users, so I wasnโt very upset about the suspension itself. I also understand that most of ZEPETOโs moderation is handled by AI. So, I thought Iโd take this opportunity to step away from the platform. However, the real issue is that the member in question is a minor, born in 2006 and currently 19 years old. The fact that ZEPETO deemed this photo โsexualโ is extremely upsetting as a fan. Iโve submitted several inquiries, but I keep receiving the same generic response stating that the action taken was appropriate. Iโve also noticed that ZEPETO has a โMinor Safetyโ category in its community guidelines. Yet, the platform has categorized a picture of a minor idol as sexual, which is unacceptable. Iโve spent at least hundreds of dollars on ZEPETO, and I have the payment records to prove it. If I do not receive a proper explanation of the suspension and a resolution, I will escalate this matter to consumer protection agencies, along with the payment history and photo evidence. If this was indeed a mistake made by AI, I understand that the ZEPETO moderation team may not have much control over it. However, I believe using AI for such an important aspect of community management is itself a major issue. I sincerely hope you will address this problem to prevent it from happening in the future. Once again, if I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will proceed with filing a report to the relevant consumer protection agencies. Best regards.
