Styrofoam Bonfire

Not sure who sees these or what these posts are, youtube just told me they were available to me now. Just wanted to say I can't thank you enough for tuning into my "Norm Macdonald Had a Secret" video, and taking a chance on subscribing with zero track record haha. I was hoping for like 1,000 views first month if I was lucky and I feel like an imposter now. All the love for Norm is inspiring and I'm working through all the comments slowly to respond to the ones addressed at me.

Excited to have you on board! (for now, until I inevitably disappoint you)

@Spawn303

Bro, I’ve been watching Norm videos religiously for the last 4 years and yours was seriously one of the best I’ve seen. Keep up the great work

Dude you made a beautiful video, it’s not a coincidence it’s doing so well. Don’t feel like an imposter, be proud of your work :)

I was honestly blown away, you managed to evoke so much emotion in such a beautiful way. I love how you took a back seat, allowing the story to tell itself while encouraging it to flourish with subtle but perfect little touches.

Um, yeah, that content looked better than a fully staffed production project. It's incredible how well you craft a meaningful documentary. Just keep making material on what most interests you and all will be well.

So very well done. Everyone loves Norm so dearly, and as a result, any inside knowledge is fascinating and insightful. I had no idea he was sick back in the 80s. Thank you so much for this piece!!!

I didn't need more reasons for Norm Macdonald to be my favorite, but I got them anyway. The man will remain a Legend long after we're all forgotten. I lost someone a few days ago, and your video popped up on my feed; he was one of her favorites, as well. It really helped. Thank you.

Norm is an original one of a kind. Your documentary was well made and told a wonderful story from the perspective of the people that knew and loved Norm Mcdonald. Great job.

Fantastic video! I watched it twice back to back. The emotions felt in that were powerful. Going to continue to watch the multiple times. Norm was the man, and you did an amazing job!

You are truly gifted. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about that video since watching it several days ago. That rarely ever happens to me—so much content is quickly digested and evaporates from my mind, but your video will stay with me. It was one of the most haunting, moving, and beautifully humanizing tributes I’ve ever seen.

I love Norm. Not only do I own his book, there is a folder in my computer library filled with Norm’s work and work about him. Your video is in there. I loved it. Thank you :-)

@LoLo-hs7bp

You are literally the first person to make a documentary about him. Great work. Much appreciated

It was an incredibly high quality video and very informative. I'd never heard about his cancer during the 80s, and I have since started to notice how often he clutched/held his stomach - sort of heartbreaking really.

Norm himself would have appreciated this and been proud of you. Even if you never do another thing, you've already done enough. Thank you for making this.
