Have you heard about the Concert for Bangladesh?

In 1971, musician Ravi Shankar asked his friend George Harrison to help the people of Bangladesh who were was suffering from the effects of floods, famine and civil war. Together, they organized a concert to raise much needed funding for UNICEF's relief efforts. It was the first major benefit concert of its kind – setting the precedent that music could be used to create positive impact at scale.

Today, over 50 years since that groundbreaking moment, The George Harrison Fund for UNICEF continues the concert's legacy by providing support for critical UNICEF programmes not only in Bangladesh, but anywhere children are in need. Find out how you can support by watching the trailer below.
