You could do something similar to brickcrafts’ city where the further back you go the smaller the scale gets to add lots more depth!

Thank god i love the city and would hate to see it go. Keep up the great work and we need another city update soon.

A great way to test a small city is to make a miniland city for the minifigure scale city

Make the background landscapes micro-scale for perspective. Disneyland uses those kinds of tricks (Forced Perspective) in their parks to make them seem bigger than they are inside to the common observer...

RESULTS ARE IN! Thank you all SO much for voting on our last video and leaving tons of comments, we have spent the past week reading through every single one of them and taking your comments into consideration. Here is the final breakdown of the many votes we received:
KEEP IT MINIFIG *OPTION 1*: 52%
SWITCH TO MICRO *OPTION 2*: 26%
DO A HYBRID *OPTION 3*: 22%
What's interesting is just how many of you wanted to see more micro, considering the combined option 2 & 3 is 48%, almost tied for minifig scale!
So here's the plan, as of now: keep going with the current city which seems to be the fan favorite. We may try and somehow incorporate micro, or do a test micro city on a small table to see how it goes. More to come soon.
Thank you all!
