Holy crap, Bill! That's pretty amazing! Did not have a successful year in BC, disappointing, the extreme heat and drought absolutely sucked. Your yard looked good over on IG though. Hope you get an extended summer and this can develop for you!

Have all my bulbifer in leaf now, i want konjac but it was hard to get here where i live. We had 3 month of summer hot weather and no rain..now its super cold. Super weird weather. One of my bulbifer had a semi white leaf, like a varigation, but im sure it is just from stress, will check up on it next year. Gz on the flower!. Make sure to make a video about the flower.

Bill; The Large corm I planted last year only produced 1 umbel / leaf. After storing for the Winter it was slow to awaken this year. ALL it did was fill the pot with baby plantlets. No Bloom. As of today Nov 6th 2023 the lush 6"-8" foliage isn't showing any sign of wanting to go dormant. May attempt to keep it growing indoors ? allowing the corms to develop.

So excited that my Amorphophallus bulbifer is about to flower. This will be a first for me!! Iām just sad that the plant is just waking up now ā¦. By the time the leaf come out the pant will need to go inside for winter and not benefit from the strong outdoor light š. How many of you are growing this cool Amorphophallus?
