I have important question. I bought a apple imac pro in 2018 so a 2017 model. A 5k computer. My understanding was this computer would be able to be upgraded so it wouldn't stop getting imacOS updates. Apparently I got last apple software patch 9/17/25 for 2917 model. This imac pro is in top shape. What is best way to protect this imac pro 2017 model from now on? I'm looking at a server or apple studio to put in front of imac pro that can get upgrades for next 7 years. It such a waste of good computers that will end up in land field or closet because apple forces people to get new equipment by not making software and security updates for older models. I know the augment that older models don't have the equipment to handle new software and security updates but I call bull. Apple could still create updates that would work for older computers or at least make reasonable price devices that be plugged in to older models that will accept new software and security updates and protect the older models.

What did I do wrong? After “cleaning malware and other junk” my computer is worse and there are now five or six columns of artifact rectangles on the screen. The screen is not the issue and works for the other computer.
