Everyone, let me tell you a story. Y'all know the story behind "Surah- Lahab"? This surah is about Hazrat Muhammad's (peace be upon him) uncle and his wife um-e-Jamil who vehemently opposed Islam. It is about how they got punished by Allah (s.w.t) . The first verse is in past tense. Why? Because his hands were ruined the moment he disrespected The prophet. After the gazwa , the way he died proves that he died a really painfully. Second verse, is that his wealth won't protect him from the hell-fire, as he used to say that he would give his money to Allah (s.w.t) and protect himself from hell fire. But also, Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) said that a man's greatest wealth is his children and when Abu- Lahab (Muhammad's uncle) died, his son's didn't even bother to burry his dead body. Third verse, is how he will burn in hell fire which will be blazing and 70 percent more hotter than the one on the earth. ✎Now note that the fourth and fifth verse is about Lahab's wife, um-e-Jamil. So, fourth verse says that um-e-Jamil will carry woods with thorns and fuel her fire HERSELF, just like how she, on earth in her life used to fuel her husband's (Lahab's) anger. Fifth verse , how she will be punished by a rope of twisted palm fiber around her neck , just like how she used to tell people about a beautiful necklace she wore. How she said to them that she'll gift it to the person who supports her to oppose Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). ASTAGFIRULLAH. May Allah guide everyone towards Islam.
