Hey guys, I'm nearing the end of my unreleased collection. I have about maybe a good 25 or 30 more uploads of unreleased material (don't panic, @UKnowDaVybez has your fix for further rarities) Once it's finished, I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled for further shelved content whenever it is made available via the sites I purchase from. But the reason I'm drafting this is not to say farewell but to update y'all on a new beginning. How do y'all feel about me bringing back "Into the Music" and/or uploading already-released deep album cuts (CD quality)? For those new to my channel, "Into the Music" was an informative music trivia series I pieced together with a friend three years ago on my now titled "y2k_rewind" channel. It was steadily picking up traction the first two episodes but then my mental health issues arose to the point where I couldn't keep up with the episodes on a timely basis... BUT!... What I plan to do, if y'all are interested in me bringing back the series, I'll start producing them ahead of time and get them uploaded biweekly on the second channel. That is if y'all are still down. I have some amazing topics that would cater to y'all's interest or if there's any requests for topics you'd like me to cover, I'm all down for it. I really want to specialize in giving the much needed and overdue YouTube spotlight to the lost voices I upload here on my channel. My descriptions in the uploads cover only so much, and I want to take it a step further when the time is right. If y'all are down for me to bring back the series, I'll be more than delighted to have the project premiere in early 2024. I know lately I haven't been active on my page as I wish to. And I don't like sharing my life story, but I've been distraught with work and I have to remind myself YouTube is the one thing that keeps my mind busy and lifts my spirits up whenever I feel down. I'm always brought with a smile on my face by your guys' wonderful comments and requests in helping track down lost media. I want to also from the bottom of my heart thank every single last one of you 16,300 subscribers that have been on the unreleased scavenger hunt with me and spreading word of these lost masterpieces. I never take y'all for granted. Y'all made this channel grow faster than my previous one back in the early 2010s (remnzt6reloaded) before it was mind-numbingly closed on my part (yes, I'm guilty for being young and dumb, what can I say lmao) - and for that I am eternally grateful. It's so refreshing to see so many people share the same passion in uncovering lost music. I only wish to keep the journey going but for now, I'm hoping what I uploaded over the past 5 years has brought y'all enjoyment and fun to your lives. I only wish to make it continue as the years go by. So enough of me blah-blah-ing, please share your thoughts in the comments on what you'd like to see from "Into the Music" (if you want it back, that is) and if you're onboard with me uploading deep album cuts. I was serious in previous post, start screen-capping descriptions & downloading my videos in case my channel gets taken down because I've noticed a handful of tracks I found are no longer available on the web and I never know when YT will hit me with a notice.
