This Netflix version isn’t something I will continue to watch but I’m happy for Bm and Arlette. Hopefully casting and the writing gets better in the future.

Idk it was giving SNL. Seemed scripted and inauthentic.

And it was definitely gentrified. Which I expected, but the way they did it. It’s only gonna be models and actors on that show. Nothing real about it.

I’d definitely need the community you’ve built watching along to get through another one of those episodes frfr

I turned it off 10 min in once the white girl started rapping

" I like my man to look like he kill people" You said what...as a black woman on platform like this to the masses DO better! A resounding no for me I was watching the first half an hour b4 logging off and my face was scrunched up the whole way through not realising that everyone felt the same we definitely needed a community to share our thoughts because it just felt all over the place too many voices too many cooks too many Wanna Be celebrities and a Far Cry away from what we know it to be which is about genuine everyday people looking for love it won't be a hit for long on Netflix with us Black Folk that know it's true origin.

Someone said they sucked the culture right out of it… I agree 😒

They should’ve just let Arlette and BM do their show on Netflix.

Quite possibly the worst thing I’ve seen on Netflix. Cringe doesn’t even begin to describe it. The entire thing felt like an SNL skit. I felt a sense of shame when it was done. Almost like post 🥜 clarity. I’m going to read a book and reflect on my life choices now

The intro with Arlette & BM was good 😊 10 seconds into the live show its cooked 👩🏾

It looked super scripted. I had to go rewatch yesterday’s episode with Arlette to get this Netflix trash off my system. Even the balloon sounds seem fake.

Turned it off on the first guy.. It's giving game show vibes. Idk won't be watching it

I watched the first 5 minutes and knew it wasn’t going to be for me. It’s unoriginal and I don’t think contestants are really looking for love just some screen time. It’s cringe and forced don’t think i’ll watch any more episodes .

I ain't even gone lie...it was weird seeing non black folks on the show. I gave it a try, but don't think I'll be watching future episodes.

Your reactions are way better than the Netflix version, they should hire you frfr.

Tpindell you would do it a lot better than the host. She tried to be funny but that wasn't it 🤣

This is why I always responded No when people in the comments would say the show needed to be on Netflix.

And white girl is a rappers and her freestyle wasn’t that good? It’s feel forced
