Thought that this was the right time to announce that Cowboy may be going to his new home tomorrow.
I'll fill you all in on what's been happening recently.
One day, our farrier was over at our house doing our horses' hooves and he brought up us selling Cowboy to his 5 year old boy. We agreed to sell Cowboy to his son. The farrier came and got him about a week later after we agreed. They were officially Cowboy's new owners.
Recently, his son decided to quit riding. They put Cowboy up for sale on Facebook and then brought him to me to start riding him and get him back to regularly riding. The first day I got him back, my good friend/neighbor of mine came to try him out.
If she liked him, she would keep coming over and ride him and learn how to handle a horse like him. She did end up liking him, so she came over frequently and would ride him.
The farrier's wife thought she had taken the post down about selling Cowboy, but there was this wife to a family of 3 that had seen the post at the last second. The wife said that they have been praying for a horse like him to come along.
The family came to try Cowboy about 3 or 4 days after they called about him. They loved Cowboy.. So they bought him.
He will now be 4 hours away from where I live. I sure will miss this special special boy, but I think this is all in God's plan. He will (possibly) be going to his new home tomorrow morning.
I'll miss him, but all of this happens for a reason!
