Invasive Alien Species (IAS) are moving into the marsh at Point Pelee National Park, causing its critical open water habitat to shrink! 🫣 Home to 19 species at risk, this marsh is a haven for a diversity of plants and animals.🌾🐒🐟

Although IAS are not a new threat, climate change is actually adding more complexity to the issue. πŸ˜“ So, together with Indigenous communities and partners, Parks Canada is working to improve the health of this marsh habitat and the many incredible native plants and animals that live there! ❀️
