I’m glad you’re still posting Tommy. I was beginning to think that perhaps you died, but as long as you’re still doing good, I’m happy

Starbucks has one. Not sure how often it gets updated and sent out to stores but it’s paired with extra-large font for impaired readers as well

I like how this makes it look like you're getting a bigger 42 page menu. Guess you've just got to learn braille for the secret menu items.

Would love to see you do a video series of going to different restaurants and rating their accessibility!

I immediately thought “it would be nice if it had pictures so you could see what it looks like if you’re unsure” then it hit me immediately that I’m a doofus

As someone who has run many restaurants, if you know anyone that is blind, please ask the managers for a braille menu. Every chain I have worked for has had them as an option, some locations may need to order new ones, but if we don’t know there is a demand, we cannot fix it.

Cracker Barrel does, it was always a favorite spot to head with my visually impaired friends

How many items? Does it include a drinks menu or is that separate?

Hi Tommy, i would like some advice form you. I work of a longtime family friend that treats me like his son but , at work his real son which has been completely bind since birth is also "working there" i treat him like a brother but he does not understand sarcasm or teasing jokes, he takes many this literally or offensively and feels a constant urge to remind anyone of everything. i do take time to explain some things not being meant in a bad way or personally against him. He is a wonderful person and is amazingly able for his utter lack of sight but i fear his current way of mannerisms might be have a negative outcome in his future.. so my question is what advice would you give to your younger self as to how other people in the seeing world might react or interact with you as you go through life.

The Tommy Edison Experience
Which restaurants have braille menus? We stopped by Chili's recently and found this one.
Photo 1: Front cover shows the Chili's logo above the text "Braille Menu" with the date 09/24 in the corner.
Photo 2: A close up view of the braille inside in the menu.
Photo 3: The page number on the back of the menu shows it's 42 pages.
