Remember, friends. The people attacking and criticizing Signal in these comments, and around the internet, are mostly from intelligence agencies like NSA, or Russian assets. Signal is a threat. It costs them nothing to come here and foster fear, uncertainty, and doubt.

I mainly use Signal. I recently started school and my classmates made the group chat in WhatsApp. I tried to convince them to switch to Signal but everyone just kept saying that we were not talking about anything "dangerous" so it didn't matter. Ughhhhh. I hate having a Zuck app on my phone.

I was kinda worried that people would latch onto signal being labeled as "insecure", not understanding that it is mostly referring to vulnerable devices signal runs on and the fact that it's not ran by the government and limited to government personnel. Which is not problematic for 99.99% of potential signal users

Honestly it's a good they politicised signal cuz now it exposed signal to millions of people and potential new users đ

Singal is better when WA and TG. But for secret and important communications there is more convenient solutions.

The reason there is outrage is the NSA knows there's a backdoor or unpatched exploit, and they have evidence to suggest other state actors are taking advantage of the flaw too.

Not a fan of Signal. Never liked that you had to provide a phone number, what it took to connect with people, and how the app worked overall.

i prefer only my closest using it. the more attention to signal the more danger it will be in

Every person I know who uses signal also enjoys "pixie dust" (or nose beer, as the duchesses say) or other peculiar substances. I wonder what the connection could be..... :p
