I bought the Harvest brand stainless steel steam canner on Amazon but this one can be used as a water bath canner or a stock pot. I think I remember Pam from RoseRed reviewing it or one similar to it. I love it.

When I got mine, over a year ago, they didn’t have the SS or I would have gotten that one. So far, so good with the aluminum one. It’s so much better than having to lift jars, especially quarts, up and over the regular canner. Plus, of course, the amount of water to deal with.

While I was using my aluminum one this weekend, I noticed that it had already sprung a leak, so I will be upgrading to a stainless steel model.

I tried to use the aluminum one and it scratched my old glass stove. Plus it didn’t sit well. I just didn’t like it and so never used it. Does the stainless one sit flat? Cuz I may consider it. Thanks

Here is the steam canner I use. I love that it is stainless steel. I use it any time I can when canning since is it so easy to use and uses less water amzn.to/3zbcyPV
