Windproofing the table may require some drastic measures like paperweights and metal minis. Theatre of Mind instead of table maps and Judge fiats instead of page-flipping rules-lawyering are among my preferences anyway.

I’d say just play outside, but you are a House DM, so I understand.

I'm a carpenter, and Summer is when everyone wants me to build something for them. Which is nice, I enjoy the extra cash. Although, I find myself missing running games so much. I decided after one more side gig (day job carpenter too) I'm taking the rest of the Summer off.

Playing dnd in a well-conditioned room becsuse it's 38 celsius outside and I don't want my skin to melt. Also, I got genuenly confused for a moment, as in this part of the world we start Summer at the 1st of June.

“I don’t want to play D&D over summer cause the weather is so nice and I want to be outside,” is something I’ve heard from many people in the past. Which, to be fair, I totally get. But why not both? 🤔
Happy Summer y’all!
