Question(s): 1.) Would love to hear John's take on the Shanghai Auto Show he recently visited. 2.) Has anyone calculated how much time and money it will cost VW Group to establish an entirely new distribution network in the US to launch the Scout brand versus selling through already established 635 store VW dealer network? Note: In Colorado Q1 2025 over 2024: EV registrations are up 15 percent overall, through down in direct sales channels v franchised dealer channels - Telsa down 2%, Rivian down 40%, Lucid down 18% ....so dealers are making up that direct sales channel loss and still keeping auto industry up on EV sales - who says dealers don't want to sell EVs?
