Most Nanni engines are blocks made by other manufacturers and converted to marine by Nanni. We run a Nanni in our Lobster boat that is a John Deere block. So often the parts from the original manufacturer fit the engine, helpful to know for round the world parts acquisitions!!

"Sailing" is also "solar power" in the most indirect manner. The sun heats the planet in distinct ways, and "wind" is merely nature's way of creating the equilibrium.

It's interesting watching Delos 2.0 being built with both of you being involved in the build process. The boat will mean that much more to both of you. I know it's a long way off, Brian. Any thoughts on propellers, something like those new toroidal types?

Nanni is not an engine manufacturer, they marinize existing engines that are manufactured by other companies. Most often it is better to source marine engines from manufacturers that produce their own marine variants like Yanmar, Volvo, Cummins, Caterpillar and John Deere. Nanni converts existing Kubota and Toyota engines into marine engines by fitting their own parts. If you really want Kubota engines beta would be a better choice and they actually provide a parts cross-reference making it easier to source parts for. Nanni is known for using lower quality parts like heat exchangers and water pumps.

Hey guys I really like the way ur boat was built, I am a follower of Pete, but actually before I found his channel I was already watching u guys from ur mono hull before, and I commented since I saw u building ur new Delos, and I was amazed how it's done, in the mid part of ur boat work I have said that ur boat looks better than Pete's boats structures perhaps he saw some of my comments till I got a new ep of his building boat content that perhaps there's a connection of things that I said to ur boat, by then it pop ups to my utube about the facts that his boat builders where better than urs at that time I was thinking about what I caused for those things I have said, well actually when I saw ur system of creativity, it was very unique and ur faster than them, imagine how few workers u have but with ur sincronize method I have seen how smoothly done, another thing was Brian learned how to bend each portion of his boat that consider as another advantages for a sailor while Pete has the entire group to construct his boat, till another utube of his ep pops again showing "Delos vs Freedom boat!!", wow😱, un till I shared my opinion that there is nothing to compete because u r both good sailors, it's just how the efficiency of manufactures were built better than the other, I don't know if I did mess up with u guys but ur both been in my top list watching ur videos in u tube, I am also a big fan of Curiosity, Spear Fishing, Sailing Doodles, Sailing Teulu Tribe, Sailing Bandits and many more,.
