Do you know how hard it is to find left-handed scissors in the ‘back to school’ section of a store?
A few days ago, my daughter and I were doing our annual school supply run...
Slowly scanning the aisles for the very specific things on the teacher’s list.
And we spent no less than 17 minutes looking for left-handed scissors.
(Spoiler alert: they weren’t in the school supply section. They were tucked away in the office aisle, totally out of sight…like some kind of secret item only a few people ever find.)
It made me think…
Back-to-school season is this magical little pocket of time. ✨
There’s this sense of possibility in the air…
Like something big is about to happen.
As a kid (and even in college and grad school), I loved that feeling:
Picking your classes Gathering the right tools Knowing you were about to learn something that would make you better, smarter, more confident than before
Even if you had to wade through the discomfort of not knowing things to get there…
There was always this moment, before it all began, when you could feel yourself on the edge of becoming a new version of you.
Honestly?
I miss that.
That delicious rhythm of immersing myself in something deeply… knowing I’d come out transformed on the other side.
And it hit me…
Why should that kind of growth and momentum be reserved just for kids?

So I had an idea.
Something that brings that same back-to-school energy... but for adults like us.
You’ll get everything you need, your crayons, glue, and erasers included. 😉
