I got burnt out from most of the flying sims, saw that UBOAT finally released and been playing the hell out of that.

Iracing and assetto corza. Racing sims have filled some of the gap left from being burnt out of flight sims and the dark age

I have been practicing single circle fights against Phantoms in Minecraft. Elytra and fireworks do the tricks.

VTOL VR, it's like DCS distilled to its essence. Also better modeling of core stuff like radar, missiles and EW.

Definitely vtol VR has good mechanics in an easy to understand manner. Makes it fun to just get in and go while still having the complexity of a good combat sim. Minus having to read a whole checklist to get off the ground

It would be IL-2 but I just added 2000+ mods to Skyrim to make it photo realistic and it is glorious. (I am disabled and I can’t get out nearly as much as I want, so it’s like a virtual walk/run for me.) Once I’ve got that out of my system I’ll be hopping in my Spitfire MK IX for a new career.

end of last year I finally bought myself good hotas hardware and a VR. Been flying DCS again ever since, but mostly 80s-90s scenario as early cold war is plagued by the “GCI” and spotting problems.

Used to be IL-2, especially when my Virtual squadron was active. Now after your presentation War Thunder. I like how it has rudimentary communication tools with strangers you can use from VR as opposed to just typing. Recently got Banshee.
