U S Gov Did you know, the founding fathers only paid the senators and representatives a “per diem” amount when in session. Why? Because the founding fathers knew , if congress were to ever be paid salaries,( which they could vote to increase themselves), then congress would no longer be “of the people”, but rather “above the people”. The founding fathers wanted those in congress to be subject to the same economic and financial conditions as the rest of the nation, based upon the laws they passed.

Dehumanizing people we disagree with. It’s fine to say what someone is doing is evil. I don’t think it’s okay to not be willing to even have dialogue with that person.

High levels of indoctrination vs. little education in our schools, feelings vs. logic. Lack of critical thinking and problem solving skills in younger generations as a whole.

People forgetting their history, trusting the government and corporations too much, and allowing what remains of their civil liberties to be taken in exchange for "peace and stability".

The United States Gov. Warren Buffett quipped “that he could end the deficit by passing a law that says anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election.” I’d support that law 100%.

1. Turning crazy ideology into Laws. 2. Corruption, obviously. 3. Not having ALL State and Federal appointees' (voted in by us), have legitimate and significant background checks, so that the people are aware of who they are voting for. 4. Not having Fiscal checks in place before and after a new State/Federal appointee starts their new position. This way the people would know how the previous appointee used the State/Federal funding. 5. Accountability.

What sucks is they all proved him right after all. Lack of talking (especially from weak minded individuals) turns to violence.

Debt. We can disagree about many things but if we don’t stop federal debt we will loose this country as it is today.
