Thanks for the update. The past month has been pretty rough, living in the US and specifically in California, so your channel is one of the more positive things I have to look forward to. Movie Nights especially has become one of my favorite shows, so I'm happy to hear there is a new one coming out. I love it when you work with Allison and Phelan.

Thanks for the work you do, it's always appreciated! I haven't seen your review for Presence yet, so I'll get on top of it! 👌

Hey there Matthew, that sounds like a lot of fun watching so many films! I’ve only seen Lea Seydoux in the brilliant 2014 Beauty And The Beast film, I really enjoyed that one. You said in your film festival video when you were reviewing The Beast that she was in it, and you said she’d been good in other things, like what ones?

Tony Jay? The late voice actor known for Megabyte and Judge Frolo?

Have you gone to doing Shorts Reviews for effiency, because you don't have that much to say about a film or to gain more traction?

Film Brain
Hey, everyone!
Wanted to catch up everyone on everything I've done in January! A busy month for me behind the scenes usually, but at least I've been pretty visibly productive too.
I released two full-length videos last month! I wasn't the fastest to review Sonic the Hedgehog 3, but I caught up with it! Meanwhile, I explain why Steven Soderbergh's Presence, a ghost story from the spirit's POV, isn't a horror film really.

Elsewhere in Shorts, it was a pretty wide range of titles. Odessa Young's fishing port suffers grave misfortune in The Damned; Lea Seydoux leads French stars sending themselves up in Quentin Dupieux's typically weird The Second Act: a misanthrope has his life saved by a stray dog in Hong Kong drama Alone No More; killer frat boys get their comeuppance thanks to some killer Bystanders; Sunray: Fallen Soldier is a film made by and starring ex-Royal Marines Commandos; and Frank Grillo has to survive a night under a supermoon turning everyone into Werewolves!

I've also edited a new episode of my friend @AllisonPregler's Movie Nights on a hilariously dubbed early Tony Jaa film called Hard Gun, which isn't public yet. I'm already working on the next episode, and I think you're really going to like that one...
Please enjoy this photo of me watching Alone No More, rather ironically in a cinema totally all by myself...
