The Saint and The Sinner

I got rid of my iPhones because there were blank images popping up in my iMessage on both my iPhone 12 and 14. I setup an iPhone 17 pro max (same phone number) and I’m experiencing the same issue. Anyone had any experience with this? Or a fix?

I read it’s usually because of icloud photo syncing issues. A temporary display problem. Often remedied by just restarting your phone or waiting over time. I personally dont use icloud for messages or iphotos, for this very reason. Icloud is a very convenient service, but it can be very faulty, this as the perfect example. It also seems to be very unsecured. Stories about people’s “icloud getting hacked” seem to be common. Only thing I really use it for is contacts. I’ll happily keep things separate for certain devices.

I’ve noticed this since I upgraded to iOS 26. A future update should resolve it

I’ve had this and it was due to accidental screen shots because I had my double tap set to screen shot

iOS is the easiest to hack, Android is more secure, for the simple fact that a lot of people don't use it.
