Well before Peter Jackson took creative liberties with J.R.R. Tolkien’s beloved novel, The Hobbit made its movie debut on the small screen in 1977.
In my latest Once Upon a Record video, I take a look at the unique legacy of the animated film, what it has to do with both Disney and Studio Ghibli, and pay tribute to the talented artists that worked on this lost and forgotten soundtrack.
