So I am very confused about this beetles stuff nail narrative says it doesn't have the proper amount of chemical to fully cure then I just watched a licensed technician i think she said 30-40 years she got the msds from beetles website and then read and explained each ingredient and said all the percentages were correct for a proper cure so anyway earlier this tech named nail babe I use to like her until I caught her giving misinformation about brands a few times she has issues with like today with double rythm she said they don't give SDS sheets and won't reply to her email or something then does this test and purposely under cured double rythm scrapes it and of course un cured gel underneath she says it's streaky no coverage blah blah blah but if you already have it its nothing to panic about just don't buy it what huh red flag after red flag like number one if it's not curing that is something to panic about so she scrapes off her layer of uncured gel and there was clearly uncured gel underneath so in her comments I'm like this is weird I have double rythm many they have amazing coverage and self level like a dream their 6 piece sets all also come with the SDS sheet so I go to investigate a little I email asking for the sds even though I have many and I go grab the darkest which was a dark purple I don't have their black but it's a very pigmented polish and on the thicker side so I swatch a thin layer full coverage no streaks and on the far end I do a thin layer of chaun legend I cure them both and scrape them both after curing clean peel zero uncured product underneath and a few hours later double rythm replies with what do you know the fkng sds so I'm like yeah this chick is doing this sht on purpose towards companies she's having drama with behind the scenes mind you the comments I left earlier were very respectful correcting her telling her the sets come with SDS sheets all my polish self levels and full coverage in one coat so I got back after I do her bs scrape test and realized she legit under cured that sht on purpose so I couldn't comment and let her know I did her scrape test and it was fully cured ECT and that double rythm emailed me back with in a couple hours with the SDS and I couldn't comment that because she to my shock blocked me for no real reason besides me calling her out very respectfully like why are people doing that kind of shit so many of us are trying to find decent brands at a decent price and putting misinformation out there out of spite so people miss out on actual decent affordable brands it's fkng infuriating anyways so the 30+ year tech I just watched about beetles she did a cure test but no scraping so it made me think let me go do a test with the black I have so I swatched next to the double rythm purple a thin layer curing 90 seconds beetles says thin layers 60-90 seconds in 48 watts or higher so I cured 90 seconds that sucker was rock freaky hard it took a minute to be able to scrape a piece off the chaun legend and double rythm was easy to peel off so after fighting to get it to peel up with sharp tweezers bam same result as the other 2 it's cured so my advice to everyone stop taking others words to make your informed decisions do your own research and make decisions that are best for you and your clients now personally I don't think a professional should use beetles on clients there are in my opinion other safer affordable options because let's be honest beetles is notorious for people getting allergies and I think a lot of it is diyers not educating themselves on how to properly and safely use gel products but again in my opinion it's not the best quality and definitely not a professional gel and at the end of the day we all just need to do our own research I won't be buying beetles anymore but also won't be tossing what I have they have so many gorgeous colors and I can use them for practice since I want to build a collection of Korean products anyways another thing I've actually heard from a few techs that UV nail glue is actually the most dangerous out the gels definitely do your research on that and any chemical you use
