Phil Hanley

Recording the audiobook edition of SPELLBOUND was the hardest thing I have ever done(and I’ve performed stand up at a logging camp in a cardigan). It was also rewarding and I am very proud of the final product. For Your GRAMMY® Consideration in the Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording category.

Your book was informative and entertaining. It helped me to better understand my grandson's efforts and I thank you for that. I donated my copy to a small library in Ontario where he lives. All the best from a friend and neighbour of Uncle Lee.

Excellent book Phil! I really enjoyed all the stories and the way you read it kept me hooked. What an accomplishment, I have a new appreciation for the challenges of dyslexia. I’ve been spreading the word and telling everyone to check it out. 😊

It was so well done! The outtakes and discussions between chapters were the perfect way to address the elephant in the room, and we audiobook listeners got a little bonus in the bargain.

Just finished listening on audible. I binged it over a couple of days. I loved it. Inspiring to create a book with the challenges you've faced with learning and letters. You've got your own story, it was heart warming, sincere, vulnerable, funny, human and interesting. All our brains are wired a little different, I love how you've leveraged those challenges and thrive as a funny cunt. Respect, ps I'm aussie, its a term of endearment 😃. Please come to Australia! And thanks for the laughs over the years when I stumbled across Oohlala. Love your crowd work but I want more, a new special. You're a bos
