Yea the water tribe having blue eyes and the fire nation having red eyes is A HUGE DETAIL that they are overlooking but it adds so much character

I love the snapshots from the show! But with the real eye color it looks just amazing! I’m actually super stoked for the live action series, which is saying something as I am not a fan of pretty much any remake that has been made for anything.

I like their natural colors. I feel like if they had eye colors corresponding to the show it would be very distracting. The brown eyes are beautiful

I could not for the life of me figure out why the pictures felt soo eerie to me but this is why. Taking away the eye color was definitely a bad decision. I hope it’s not like that for the final product

I like the concept but I feel they're too bright, they look straight out of Twilight. Perhaps toning them down a bit would make them feel more natural

No. Looks like they were pushing it too hard and now it looks like activating their eyes is part of their power. Sharingan concept but with a Twilight execution.

I like it better. Also zuko needs a more gnarly scar. It had visibly lines and burn wrinkles in the original and it would look better and be more impactful for visual storytelling. If it was a little more messed up

Nah. The movie tried forcefully to imitate the spirit of the animated series, and we know where that all went. This series can only be good if it does its own thing without hurting the lore of the universe. And eye colors aren't such an important detail, lore-wise
