She began with a hundred explosive push-ups, her palms slapping the floor with each rep. Then a hundred pull-ups on a metal bar she salvaged from a broken scaffold. The concrete beams groaned under her weight, but she didn’t flinch. Her abs burned through five different types of crunches — a hundred reps each. Next, the weights: improvised dumbbells filled with sand and rocks. One hour of non-stop lifting for biceps, triceps, chest, and back, sweat dripping like rain in the cramped room. That’s New York’s road map right there!” She laughed. “I love Betty, even if she’s the most fitness-obsessed person in the world — not that she could ever beat me, of course!” Her rivalry with Betty was legendary. While Heidi clashed with Soozie in pure chaos, Justine and Betty were all about competition. Races, weightlifting, arm wrestling — if it could be won, they’d compete. And every time, Juzz came out on top, leaving Betty shaking her head but always ready for the next round. Justine was surprised by Ritchie’s strong arms — tall, blonde, with scruffy stubble — wrapping around her from behind, his sleepy, warm voice in her ear. “Good morning, warrior,” he murmured, planting soft kisses on her neck. She laughed, flexing her arm teasingly. “You like what you see, don’t you? Fourteen inches of pure muscle!” “Always,” he replied, turning her to press his forehead against hers. “Are you sure you wanna go out and terrorize the world when you could just stay here with me?” Justine smiled, giving him a quick but warm kiss. “Ritch, I’ve got a whole school to terrorize and a bunch of girls to torture. But tonight… tonight you’re not getting away. And you should clear out too. Can you imagine if Jenny runs into you in the hallway?” She winked, giving his chest a playful tap before walking away, leaving him laughing and shaking his head. “Hey, Ritch,” she teased, swinging her twenty braids, “do you also think it’s a miracle I gained nine pounds of muscle with a diet this bad?” She danced gracefully; the poor guy collapsed back onto the bed. “I’ll take that as a ‘yes,’ big guy! See you tonight at Betty’s garage!” she murmured, blowing him a kiss before marching out of the storage room, ready to conquer the day.

Huuuuh, that reads sooooooo weird to me. 😳 Schools, middle schools, lycées and of course universities don't separate boys and girls here in France since before I was born ! I think it has been this way for almost a century now 🤪. It might even have been outlawed, though I wouldn't bet on it. 🤔 I personally think separating G&B might even be detrimental to socialization 🤔. It's a pity the guy was so uncomfortably insistent, but it's logical he would want to know you better with your phone number and call you and maybe hang out together outside of school, since the separation makes it that he can't interact with, get to know and befriend you there so things would feel more natural 🤷♂️. And since he can't interact with you at school because girls and boys are separated, the only way for him, or any guy your age in your school, to notice you would logically be your good looks. So it might have been a little bit scary, but that's perfectly explainable 🧐. Ofc, if he isn't your type... 🤭 Not that mixed schools make things easier, just less difficult. Oh my, I myself was so dorky and lame by then 😅... I couldn't ask a girl out without embarrassing myself 😅. Um- UNUSUAL story time-
You know how my college is divided into two right? Boys and girls are separated. So for the open day, it was mixed. We could go to the boys side to buy stuff and vice versa. My friend was walking with her fiancé and called my name while I was passing by with my chaotic friend A (I'mma keep calling her that so you know now lol) There was also two or three guys with them maybe? I didn't pay attention. I just looked at her and her fiancé. She dropped the shocking news earlier that one of those guys couldn't stop bothering her to give him my number 💀 She said how he fell head over heels for me. HOW😭😭 I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE HIM?!😭IT WAS A QUICK 2 SECONDS LOOK. I was actually flabbergasted ngl. She had already said no since I'd get into trouble but he persisted. Obviously I said no😭 but I'm still in shock omg. I always thought if I would ever find someone, he'd only like my personality, not looks😭 This did make me feel a bit better about myself tbh🥹 on the way home, I mustered some courage and talked to my dad about it in the car (I was looking for a good reason to talk to him anyway cause the atmosphere was awkward 💀) When I said that I said no- he said "OF COURSE NO!"💀 He then said "tell him to stop bothering you before he get problems with me" I know damn sure he wasn't kidding- He could go after him with his Katana or machete lol😭 Sooo that's it🤡👍🏻 one last thing? yk how I've always been anxious around people or specifically boys?
