What is Mobility Training? 🤔 Read & Share 👇

Mobility Training relates to training methods that increase the RANGE & STRENGTH OF A JOINTS FUNCTION 💪🏼

It can be progressed from “unable to move at all” like was the case with Hali after her car accident, all the way to ➡️ advanced range of motion lifts 🏋🏽‍♀️

Mobility Training only be done if the tissues that surround the joints are trained, which can be done via:⬇️

🔸Controlled Articular Rotations (mainly for maintaining joint ROM) - warm up phase
🔸Isometrics to Strengthen end range
🔸Eccentrics
🔸Weighted Full ROM reps (including compound movements)
And more… 🤓

You get the gist…there’s ALOT of ways you can improve and maintain your mobility 🤸🏼‍♂️🏋🏽‍♀️ and what is best for you to do depends on 👇

🔹 Your current ROM (can be tested via joint assessments) 📐
🔹 Previous movement & injury history (& if you did rehab properly after an injury) 🩼🤕
🔹 Your activities day to day 👷‍♂️🕵️‍♀️🏋🏽‍♀️👩🏼‍🏫
🔹 Experience level with training
🔹 Tissue Type (closer to hypo- or hyper- mobile) 🤯 so you’ll slightly change the approach depending on if you’re at an end scale of one of these!!
🔹 Sometimes even temperature 🌡️ of the environment you’re training in & even 👇
🔹 Your stress level & sleep quality 😴 😥
+ Much more…
