Just to clarify my recent video: I never said the stores are independently owned or franchised , The staff member at Bunnings told me that each bunnings store is independent and can set their own prices. Bunning price policy states "if you find a competitor's lower price (including GST and delivery charges) on the same in-stock item, we'll beat it by 10%. This excludes trade quotes, stock liquidations, commercial quantities, and items sold by other *Bunnings Group businesses". I have emailed bunnings asking if each individual store is considered an independent bunnings group business, meaning price matching/beating will not occur? The response was that they do not price match from store to store, items sold have a national pricing however there are some exceptions. Purpose of this video was to address the huge variance in prices across stores within a short distance of each other and the fact that they wont match their own prices??????
