Kind of a challenge to see how long I can leave it on. One day I'll own vintage zildjians with the sticker still on em.

Yeah, not because they're tacky or for res, just because I like admiring both sides of the cymbal as I mount/dismount them and the sticker is not part of the cymbal itself. Having said that, I've never thought about it and just might start leaving them on so I 'unno š

Iām that guy that doesnāt even use felts on top of my cymbals, so ya that sticker is coming off immediately for MAX resonance.

I really don't care, I don't like the stickers but I like the stickers a lot more than any nasty glue residue left on the bottom of them. I only play larger cymbals so any resonant impact they might have is entirely negligible

Every sticker has to be removed, and I even go so far as to get rid of the sticky residue left over. Putting a sticker directly on a cymbal should be a federal crime.

I recommend removing stickers and soon as possible. Over time they cement themselves on the cymbal

I haven't bought a new cymbal in years, but I have cymbals that still have the sticker under the bell. I just leave it on there.

I buy used cymbals, i have an a custom ride that ive been using as a crash for like 2 years and just recently i noticed some etches inside the bell, its the previous owners full name and social security number, for his sake i will use it until its done and properly dispose of the bell lol You can see me using it in my drum playthrough on my channel

I peel and clean the cymbal after purchase. If they are brilliant finish cymbals I go the extra mile and polish em with cymbal compound and a good microfiber, followed by a chamois for residue. I also do this with gloves on so no finger prints.

I always try to bargain hunt player grade vintage cymbals to go with an old Ludwig kit, and they typically donāt have them.

I take off the price tag cause Iām not tacky. But I leave the actual bar codes if itās not on the same sticker
