the whole "being underage and studying is better than being middle-aged and working" thing is a blatant lie.

1. school/uni is basically a full time job, and by full time, i mean your entire life (including afternoons, weekends, holidays and days off) are very influenced by it.
oh, you have an exam on monday? sucks, you're gonna have to either prepare it very well on friday (very unlikely) or waste away your weekend.

2. you don't get paid?? like i know you're not doing anything for anyone and it's the teachers who are working for you, but we teens rely on our family's financial support and not our own effort/situationship to manage our monetal exchanges

3. you have to deal with angsty teens for 6 hours a day (i cant really complain about this one since my class this year is really nice, but trust me ive been dealing with very VERY rude people for the past few years)

4. the school system itself is broken, i've tried 2 systems already and none of them balance the amount of reward they give different skills (ability to memorize & creativity)

5. can we talk about how im writing this as an escape to study history and english

6. also i would've edited the picture below into 5 different pics where Layla Genshin Impact slowly fades in (shes a sleep deprived student, thats her whole personality) but i didnt have the time to

7. i did however have the time to realize my scarf is two-coloured which ticks me off bc im not reopening gacha club yet another time

8. stop complaining about taxes, do your work and be happy you already graduated😞

True school sucks and only a adult can choose if you go or not :(

I'm gonna have the most important exams of my life in a couple of months, and the funny thing about that is my teacher refuses to teach us anything! Whenever any of us try to complain, she'll just start rambling on about how the school pays HER and how we should respect her, this and that, when we're only asking her to actually teach?? She also has this very annoying habit of bringing in our class coordinator and complaining to her whenever we don't "listen to her" and "lie about not having learnt anything". I'm so tired trying to teach myself all this stuff 😔

With the number of people complaining about the job market right now, I'm scared that my (still ongoing) >17 years of education (school, college, and possibly university) is gonna amount to unemployment and debt... Makes me wonder why I'm even trying at all...
