Right on time… my narc parents started reaching out yesterday to forgive me for cutting them out. They still haven’t apologized or acknowledged they did anything wrong.

Thank you for that. It is very interesting that I would read this today " time passed is not an apology". This came right on time. My sister text me this morning telling me she was thinking about me and pray all is well after disconnecting from me with no explanation at all for 2 years now. I have loved her all my life but I am not impressed or feeling anything about her text. She has never apologized to me or told me why she disconnected from me . I don't know what I'm going to text if I text her back but it's going to be short and I will not do her work for her and open up the door for a honest conversation. She has to do that and if it never happens that's okay too. I am healing from that disconnect and I am a different version of me❤
