It's official, I got my Youtube partnership back after losing it in December. I have to admit I did seriously consider just giving on my Youtube channel when I first got the notice that I was losing my partnership and my initial return videos were doing little to make up the watch hours needed to keep it. But when looking at old videos of mine and their comments, I got nostalgic over those old Youtube days and kept at it, getting that spark back to enjoy making videos again regardless of monetary potential. And after not too long, my effort has paid off. I'm aware my channel still isn't gonna bring in any serious money in its current state, but if one of the LWBDAN videos go viral again or my channel pops off another way, it will be really nice to not miss out on it. I also very much know Youtube ads are obnoxious for those on devices with no ad block, so in my longer videos I'll be sure that midroll ads are placed appropriately and aren't overabundant (I thought Youtube was taking midroll control away several months ago but apparently not).
Now with monetization secured, I have no more excuses to keep putting off a particular big video I been wanting to do for a while now... It's probably going to take a bit and I have to see if it's even possible but I'll try to get it done within a month.
