Elewys of Finchingefeld

I'm not ignoring you guys, I promise. I've been a little down of late and struggling to get the motivation to complete a couple different videos I've started. On the other hand, my youngest graduated high school, I started running (up to 25 minutes in a row!) and the strawberry harvest is off the hook! Get out and enjoy some weaving. Love you all!

I started my first tablet weaving project this past week because of you and your wonderful videos. I find you to be quite the inspiration. Take the time you need to take care of yourself. Just know that you are truly doing amazing things!

Rest when you need it, friend. We’ll be here when you get back! And I’m super proud of the running, that’s “legit” as the kids say. 😂

My strawberries have been off the hook, too (south of you, just a little south of Olympia)! Your videos have been EXTREMELY helpful to me in answering some of my tablet weaving questions, and I could honestly watch you warp your loom all day long! I play your videos while I work (sewing) and love to listen to your narration! So, it'll be a happy day when new content rolls out, but please take care of yourself, and do what you need to do to keep your priorities in a happy order. <3 (Come to think of it, I need to get off this computer and get my exercising in!)

I love your content. Personally feel you make all good things happen. I am much older and know our kids milestones cause us to reflect and can cause distractions. It is all part of the whole. Love your work for us. Me time is important also as I am certain you know. Sending good thoughts your way for all you love.

Big milestones in the personal life definitely trump the need for more videos. Enjoy the strawberries & sunshine of summer for a bit. Nature will improve your well being. Weaving can wait. Hugs! 🤗

I know I'm late to commenting, what with the you-posted-this-4-months-ago, but I wanted to add my words of encouragement to you and let you know that you've been a HUGE source of inspiration!!! Your videos are just what I've needed of late, and I've caught the band weaving bug thanks to you! I also like to play around with woodworking so it was also a fun excuse to build my own inkle loom. Actually, I've built 2 looms! A portable pink unicorn one (I do regional Burning Man events on the east coast) and a proper tabletop loom for home (less cute but more functional). So, please feel the love coming from across the country your way!!! I can't thank you enough for your time and efforts. 😊

Many of us seem lacking in enthusiasm. Dont feel alone in that. As for running for 20 mins !! Well done right now im struggling to stand for 20 mins let alone run.

Greetings and blessings! I just started that Seydisfjordur pattern, and I must have forgotten how to count! I'm 3 feet in and can't get a clean, accurate repeat! I keep getting lost. It's me, not the pattern. So you don't have to apologize for anything!!! I'm still catching up with your impressive library of videos. Congrats on your graduate!
