Hey there. I didn't think this was worth an entire video to itself, but I wanted to give an update. Sorry for the delay.

Within the next couple of days, I plan to start releasing the Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia playthrough. I want to release two videos every couple of days: one that includes the non-combat exploration and story, and a second that includes what goes on in the next main battle of the game. I feel it would be a bit of a disappointment to those who mostly care about one or the other to only see the content they're looking for every four days. I have several of the first few episodes pre-recorded and actually uploaded but set as private way back from 2020, so I'll be making those public first and recording the next episodes in the meantime. I don't know how well I'll be able to keep up the pace while also getting back in practice after becoming quite rusty at making Fire Emblem videos since the end of the Shadow Dragon series. But I will try.

I know some people have asked for more Crusader Kings religion and culture tier lists, I'm interested in making a culture one but not with the same parameters as the previous ones I've made. My current best idea is to make a tier list of how specialized or optimized each culture is for the region that it naturally appears in. But that's still extremely early in the idea phase, I've done literally nothing to make that so far.

In addition to trying to go harder on Fire Emblem, I've been thinking for future content I also want to make videos for miscellaneous games that I've been playing and enjoy, without locking myself into a particular genre.

As for the ongoing series, it's safe to say that they will not be continuing, for their own various reasons.

The Cataclysm DDA Achievement run was already having some issues, as I either lost or forgot to record a significant portion of gameplay. On top of that, the character unfortunately died in a classic way; I pulled the pin on a grenade, forgot to throw it, and then started rapidly walking away so I didn't have time to react to the sound cue telling me about the live explosive in my hand. New achievements have been added to DDA since then, and several of the older ones now have new ways they need to be earned, so I'm not opposed to trying this one again in the future.

Any CK3 playthroughs I was doing have had their save data obsoleted by updates that have been released since then, so they're obviously unplayable. I've been taking a hiatus from CK3 in general lately, but the updates coming alongside the Tours & Tournaments DLC look interesting, so I think I will try to hop back into it and make some videos when that releases. Also, I'd like to do some recorded playthroughs of the After the End mod, but only after the developers for that work out the crash to desktop issues with it.

The CK3 custom religion series was a fun mental exercise, but I think I'm pretty bored of it now. It also took a lot of time to make each episode for (imo) little return of value.

As always, thanks for watching and for your patience. While it would be kinda funny to hit 1000 subscribers while not posting any content, I do want to get back into this, and I can do it more consistently now that I have a full time work schedule that doesn't change weekly like I did before, and a much stronger PC so I can record games at higher quality and edit them faster, too.

Let me know if you have any special requests or interests in content. I won't make promises, but I will take them into consideration. Have a pleasant day.
