There is a huge difference between self-love and narcissism. They are opposing vibrations. A narcissist does not love themselves. They see someone who loves themselves and seeks to take their energy; to take that energy — to emulate that energy. To take what’s not theirs. This is a symptom of narcissism. Disrespect towards themselves, disrespect towards others, disrespect towards boundaries. A person who loves themselves does not tolerate the narcissistic energy, although they may attract narcissists towards them due to their radiance and high frequency. It is the job of the empathic individual to learn how to embrace the path of the dark empath, i.e. the empath who has learned to embrace, conquer, and master their shadow, or shadow aspect of Self. Once the empath is destroyed by the pain of this world and the pain others has inflicted upon them, they begin their spiritual journey - often unknowingly and often unwillingly - in order to heal and reclaim aspects of Self, one of these aspects being the shadow. This is where “shadow work” comes into play, as the bruised empath / the truth-seeker / the student faces the trauma that has been built up within the soul for lifetimes. In healing this trauma, they begin to reclaim various aspects of Self and undergo soul retrieval after each lesson is learned. They realize pain is their teacher and best friend, and they realize that the path is truly an individual one. They also realize that everyone is on the path, but only the awakened can actually spiritually ascend in consciousness while on the path, because they are going through the process of soul transformation. While most others are asleep, repeating karmic cycles and loops, the now-awakened one studies the loops and patterning in order to break free from them, to break out of them, to break out of the cycles of conditioning that teaches the soul to be bound to the body, that teaches the soul to fear instead of love, that teaches the soul that there is an “other” outside of it. There is no other. All is One, and God is All, and the now-awakened student wakes up to the fact that the process of alchemical transformation of the soul is the actual point of human life (the point is to self-realize). They then seek to teach the world what they know, via their natural talents and inclinations. They are also removed from all forms of social conditioning, as they have rewired these aspects entirely in order to anchor to a more transcendental frequency — which is the frequency of Truth i.e. the frequency of God. These individuals move with the grace of the Lord and therefore with divine love and compassion towards so-called narcissists and other such low energies of matrix, who have never felt such affection and who soften in the presence of the awakened being. The awakened one is not depleted by such energies because they do not give to such energies — their frequency is not on the same level, so there can be no energy exchange. Instead, the awakened pours their love into the world in a neutral way. Narcissism cannot exist within the awakened, as they have already abandoned existing in the world, and instead seek to pour into it via the energy they generate from within (source-energy). Narcissists, vampires of energy, or low-vibrational sleeping souls who come into contact with an awakened being cannot remain narcissists for long, as they are forced to awaken or heal in the presence of an energy that is transcendent. The frequency dissonance is too high, so either the narcissist — after realizing they cannot feed from an energy that is God itself — will self-destruct and begin their transformational process, or they will be afraid of the high vibration and seek to exit the presence of the awakened being. This is the definition of one who is living out their true purpose, calling, and destiny. To walk the path of liberation means that you set others free from their own chains even unwillingly, and you are feared and even hated for the transformation you spark in others. Because you do not operate from your own will but rather from Divine will, and because you have deprogrammed yourself from matrix-based programs such as people pleasing, fawning, and seeking to fit in, you are indifferent to how you are perceived and are free to live your highest Divine truth, no matter how it looks from the outside. The awakened soul is the only soul that is truly free - that needs no approval nor energy from others, and that is devoted only to their path of healing Self within themselves and within others.
