Ame's graduation didn't really hit me when I saw the announcement. In fact, after going back and watching clips, and looking at so many appreciative posts, I was starting to feel happy and hopeful.
Then I realized she always sang "When September Ends" in karaoke. I went back and listened to one of the times she performed it and I started sobbing. I know she probably didn't do that on purpose, but it's uplifting to think that it was more than just a coincidence and was actually meticulously planned, just like so many of the other things she's done.
The signs may have been there for a while, but it doesn't stop me from feeling a wave of depression.
Thank you to everyone in this community who I've interacted with, and gotten along with.
Thank you for changing the entire trajectory of my life and being a constant inspiration, Ame.
