The fact you perceived porter's statement as a death threat is geniunely concerning, like you unironically need help if you are that paranoid.

This ainât it dude. Even now when âapologisingâ you still donât get it and seem to think he has some personal vendetta against you. You need to seek help if youâre genuinely this paranoid about everything, thatâs not normal. Iâve been subscribed to this channel since part 1 of the âhow 3 idiots accidentally conquered the worldâ video released over 3 years ago but I canât stay subscribed after a crash out like this. Seek help.

Alex, if you really believed this was a grave mistake, youâd have taken full responsibility. But you havenât. Youâve left up the same inflammatory comments under Porterâs podcast and kept the post on X where you continued throwing jabs. This isn't a resolution, it's a poor attempt at damage control. You deleted the YouTube post not because youâve had a change of heart, but because the overwhelming backlash forced your hand. And now youâre hoping a vaguely apologetic tone will smooth things over without requiring you to actually walk anything back. Letâs be clear. Richard Porter wasnât talking about you. You wanted him to be. You needed him to be. Thatâs why you twisted his words into a personal threat, because attention from him wouldâve given you two things youâre clearly running low on. A credible rival, and relevance. That much was clearly evident in your public meltdown. I said it before and Iâll say it again. This was never about defending yourself. It was about proving to your audience that you matter enough to be attacked. You donât. And the fact that youâre still keeping pieces of this drama alive while pretending to move on only reinforces the point. I wonder how your patrons feel watching all this unfold. Iâm sure this isnât what they expected when they chose to support you. Youâre not defending a legacy anymore, you're humiliating it and yourself. This isnât a course correction. Itâs damage control dressed as humility.

so i just read this after seeing the latest post (as of writing) and it gives some context clearly you thought porter was coming at you specifically at first, but then realised that it wasn't specifically referred to you. sounds fair. however you imply that you will take matters into your own hands if porter makes another threat towards you, specifically. this would only make sense if porter had said something to you specifically in the past that could be deemed as threatening what did porter say to you alex gearknob specifically to make you feel uncomfortable?

If you think he was referring to you in that clip You need to get checked, both him and Johnny have spoken about whistling diesel in the past and itâs pretty obvious based on previous comments thatâs who heâs talking aboutâŚ.

I mean, dude, even me as a big fan of Top Gear. Just stick to the retrospective reviews of seasons, the deep dives on the presenters. That's genuinely good and interesting content. That's what I'd watch from you. Stick to that, get your big Jeremy Clarkson doc finished. Id watch that.

Hi Alex, you may remember me. I was the person who you stalked when you owned the Top Gear Community Project Discord Server. You found out where I live, what I looked like, the names of my family members and what they looked like. All because I wouldnât buy you a DVD for the project. You scarred me for life. Youâre a creep.

We understand you have a stressful life as you mentioned in your latest video but you will only make it worse if you lash out like others just as clarkson did in 2015

You had me in the first half, and then ruined it with yet another two paragraphs of justification. PORTER WAS NOT THREATENING ANYONE. It was a warning to those guys to be safer! You are so desperate for everything to be about you.

Gearknob Official
One final addendum, as per my latest post on Patreon.
I would like to apologise for my earlier behaviour. The red mist descended, and I believe I have made a grave mistake based on the notion that former Top Gear scriptwriter Richard Porter is personally gunning for me. This is based on the fact he has criticised my work in the past and I saw what he said in "Someone's going to die, probably you fronting the channel" as referring to me personally.
Of course, he could be referring to a lot of people. As you all said, there are evidently a lot of YouTube channels that talk about Top Gear with many subscribers who could make Porter's blood run cold. I perceived it as a death threat. And I take such things very seriously.
With all that said, I do stand by a lot of what I have said elsewhere - the fact that a lot of things he's said behind closed doors aren't as public as he thinks they might be, claiming the Top Gear vehicles were a "liability", his reticence in acknowledging Alex Mills' role in Top Gear's success, and of course, that original criticism of my video all worked in building my ire to a boiling point.
If Richard Porter says anything more direct to me in a similar vein of "someone's going to die", naming me explicitly, I will seriously consider involving the police and otherwise stay out of it. I have far better, less destructive things to do in life than deal with a petty feud that will turn two years old towards the end of the year and started from what I feel what were among the stupidest reasons imaginable.
No-one is going to die.
