With everything this mod has gone through in the past this feels like finally purifying that last 1% of corruption that's been hiding from you for weeks. Now that that idiot is gone Calamity might actually be able to progress without taking 100 steps back every time

YOOOOO, Calamity Mod just lifted the restrictions? the Devs finnaly hit "Ctrl+Z' on all the content they yeeted into the void. Time to bring back those canceled weapons and structures like they're the main characters in a redemption arc! 🔥🔥

So from what I get and from the changelogs channel in the official server Heres the big stuff Just to have people whoa aren't in the cal server informed -Drunk princess will entirely be removed and her items be redistributed among other NPCs -the candles will now be sold by the wizard -the odd mushroom will be sold by the truffle -the interlude music boxes will be sold by the Princess -Fab staff being renamed to the sylvestaff and being resprited -fabsols vodka being renamed to Purple haze -all alcohols are now craftable via keg and have their flavor tool tips removed -literally all non consumable items named after or associated with cirrus have been removed -wings of drew getting renamed and resprited -supreme alchemist cirrus has been replaced with something that something im unsure of what it is

Honestly Idk if I wanna play calamity anymore after this I still 100% support the devs, more than ever now that fabsol is gone, but I don’t think I’ll be able to play it again without it leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Whether I play it again or not, though, I’m glad to see that the devs are handling the situation well, and that the mod finally seems to be in truly good hands with Ozzatron taking the lead. I have high hopes for the future of the mod, I just don’t know if I’ll want to take part in that future.

Intresting desison. I mean i never found any use for the drunken princes other than the alcohol buffs and the candels. I really looking forward what contet is going to be removed that is conected to Fabsol. But i hope that the candels and the bufs coude stay. That was a good stuff in my opinion.

I've seen someone on the reddit suggest an explicitly trans NPC called the scribe to replace Cirrus, I hope the team runs with that or something similar

I talked to a friend of mine about Ozzatron, and from what they told me I think we're in good hands.
"Honestly, I'd say he's a good choice if he's still the same man I know. He does NOT take any bullshit from anyone (Except Fabsol because... y'know).
Ozza has always been someone whose goal is to make calamity mod be #1, and if it weren't for Fabsol limiting what he could do, the mod would have been a LOT different. He likes to go for changes and additions that he feels would benefit the mod, but he also makes sure that everyone (or at least the majority) is on board before pushing for those things. With Fabsol gone and Ozza being one of the team's best coders, there's hope."
With this now in mind... there's lots of hope and good for the mod going forward. We just need to support the team and let time take its course.
