Hello friends! Happy Sunday! Here is Sunday's verse. This is Stephen's Falls in Southern Wisconsin. Yours truly took the picture, and considering that I used my cheap phone, I think it turned out pretty well.
I think I love waterfalls more than anything else in nature. Mountains and valleys, sunrises and sunsets are all pretty, but I think waterfalls are my favorite. It's beauty, power, and majesty all in one. Of course, there's the oceans. There are no words to describe the awesomeness of the ocean. It's really hard to nail down a favorite. Certainly, all of creation speaks of the attributes of God. His wisdom, power, and greatness are on display every day as we view the world around us and even the order of the seasons. Do you have a favorite feature of creation?
I've never understood those who wish to deny the obvious existence of God. Psalm 14:1 calls them "fools." And 2 Peter 3:5 calls them "willingly ignorant." I would agree with Scripture- since Scripture is always right. 🙂
I have at least one (possibly 2) more fall 'decorate with me' videos planned. My entryway, living room and guest room are the rooms that I hope to do next. I'm not sure which will be first. And I was also planning to do a fall home tour at some point as well. (That's not set in stone) Then maybe mix in some "prepping for fall" and / or a thrifting video as well. If you have any preferences, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
One sad bit of news to report... Angie from the Bumblebee Farmhouse passed away this past week from cancer. Please keep her family in prayer during this difficult time. My understanding is that Angie professed to know the Lord, and so I am thankful for that and hope to see her in heaven someday. I know that many of us were praying hard for Angie's health. It is hard to accept the fact that sometimes God does not answer our prayers in the way that we think he should. There is a song called "Trust His Heart." The lyrics go...
God is too wise to be mistaken God is too good to be unkind So when you don't understand When you don't see His plan When you can't trace His hand Trust His Heart
I encourage you to look up the song on youtube. It's been an incredible blessing to me- especially lately, as I have been dealing with some difficulties in my own personal life dealing with family matters. That said, I know we all deal with ongoing trials. The intensity simply changes. Anyway, I hope it's a blessing to you as well.
Please feel to mention below any prayer requests that you may have. Of course, you can always keep it private by simply writing the word "unspoken." God knows the request.
Thank you for reading my posts and watching my videos. I appreciate all of your sweet support. Your friendships mean so much to me. What a wonderful thing to consider that Christian friendships are an eternal gift that can be carried to heaven. What a privilege to be a part of the family of God! Have a blessed week, sweet friends! ~ Rachel 😊🙏💕🐈🐈⬛️
