Normal =
car payments
credit card debt
fast fashion
busy schedules
no savings
no joy

If “normal” feels broken…
that might be the sign you’re on the right path doing something different.

Minimalism isn’t about owning less —
it’s about leaving more space for what matters.

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work, driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for, in order to get to a job that you need so you can pay for the clothes, car and the house that you leave empty all day in order to afford to live in it. Ellen Goodman

@sasukesuite1

As Dave Ramsey likes to say, being normal means being broke.

I watched a few of your videos about a year and a half ago and it made me take a risk to start my own business. Cut to now, I'm doing fairly well for a business that's not even a year old yet and it has helped change my mindset on how I spend my money. I still buy a good bit of wants rather than needs, but I'm finally at a point to where if I take a vacation, I'm not going to be behind on bills. I haven't started on my savings, but that will be happening soon once I look back at my revenue and expenses for this year and looking at where to cut costs both within my business and within my personal budget. You've helped me start this journey and I couldn't thank you enough for the inspiration and advice

I need to get off my butt and work harder to sell a lot of the remaining crap in my house that I dont need. My children are going to be leaving the house soon so now is a great time to free up some space.

Your videos have helped me a lot in terms of appreciating what I have, saving money for retirement and emergencies, and living peacefully without debt.

Depends on what your "busy" with. As long as it's intentional choices that led you there its all good (despite the desire for less chaotic life). Example - I know a lot of foster parents and they are the busiest people I know, but its doing God's work...and sometimes that's the side effect.

My bank offers receiving my credit score and then making suggestions to increase my credit rating. Imagine my surprise when it suggested that I need another debt, like a mortgage or a car loan. Definitely not advice I’ll be taking. But very indicative of the weird world we live in.
