Are you over charging? Undercharging? Not charging at all (because no one “knows you”)? When I think about the struggle I had about 5 years ago with pricing and charging my worth….ugh, it honestly makes me sad. I really looked at other Trichologists who charged more and said “well, it’s easy for them”. I remember charging the prices that I did because I wanted to prove to people that they should pay me more 🤯 (that was crazy—don’t judge). I figured that they’d be sooo blown away that they would just give me extra money because of the care and effort that I put into finding the solutions that they needed. I’m here to tell you that I was WRONG🤦🏾♀️. I met a Trichologist 8 years ago at a conference and let me tell you….he was AMAZING! Of all the things he shared with me…the thing that he told me about his philosophy for pricing really stuck! I tried to fight it, I attempted to tweak it and his fact remained true. You charge the best when you are the best. It weeds out “time-wasters”, “bargainers” and “hagglers”. You know how it feels to undercharge, do the work and feel like a whole mess when you know that you are worth so much more! The question that you need to honestly answer is “Am I the BEST”. Are you prepared to invest the time, money and energy that it requires for you to become the best?
