This crush. This crush right here, a year ago today. After 3 months of obsessively watching gym chalk asmr videos (and consequently pulling me out of intense postpartum depression), it was this crush by @IndiaTheASMRChef that made me stop and think “I wonder if I could do that”. My spouse told me to go for it. And they have continued to support me every step along the way. But it was something about this crush - maybe the colors, or the dust or the magic - that inspired me to try it out for myself. A little over a month later I posted my first crush on Instagram. And now here I am. I still go back and watch this crush, when I’m feeling down and out and like the world is too much. I’m so grateful for whatever mysterious force that guided me in this direction.
