No worries, the kind of work you guys are doing takes time and I wouldn’t dream of hoping you rush it. Take all the time you need, this is a lovely project to see and I’ll be excited for it regardless of release date. Wishing you the best in your efforts on & off the project!

I am grateful for the update, but please, by all means, take your time with this. We all have plenty to do as you folks do God's work with this project, and anything that further enhances the brilliance of SMK (especially to this degree) isn't going off the radar anytime soon! Besides, you see how rushed games turn out (Mega Man Soccer, Sonic 06) but you also see the splendor of works where the developers take their time (Sonic Triple Trouble 16bit, Pizza Tower). I will wait patiently for the day this releases. I wish you all the best and am eager to see the wonders you all have in store with this magnificent romhack!

Was hoping it would be here before my uncle showed up. We played as kids and wanted to play this when he travels the country to see me in end of August. Guess another time.

I hope you guys don't let others pressure you and just let that creativity flow. Ive been waiting and waiting but I'd rather keep waiting and get this full vision you guys have then something cut short cause of time. Rock on guys it looks great!

Just a small message to let you all know we are still working very hard on #SMKDX but we still dont have a release date to share for the simple reason that there is still a lot of work to do and since we are doing this in our free time, we cannot estimate a consolidated date due to variation in our involvment on the game. Let it be known that when we will have a rough (but yet plausible and realistic) estimation we will let you know. The only thing we can tell with some certainty for now is that it will definitely not be released before end of 2023...
We know you are all eager to get your hands on the game and play it, and I can assure you that we are as much, if not more, impatient than you to see you all discover the game. But you gotta be a bit more patient, we promise this'll worth it.
