Deep Look

🌊📷PHOTOS: DEEP LOOK AT OCEANS NIGHTLIFE📷🌊 — Hey Deep Peeps! We had a great turn out for our Deep Look screening event ‪‪@calacademy‬ in San Francisco on Thursday, March 20. The screening was held in the academy’s African Hall exhibit space with about 70 people in attendance.

Thanks again to the academy for having us at their NightLife event, and big shout-outs to our guest scientists: the Academy’s Terry Gosliner and Rebecca Albright, who talked about nudibranchs (sneaky sea slugs) and corals; and @nciscostate Sarah Cohen, who talked about the incredible mating behavior of barnacles.

They not only joined us for the screening and the audience Q&A, we’re also sending them our heartfelt thanks for all their efforts in helping us make the films we screened. And don’t forget: What you see in our videos showcases the incredible expertise and research of scientists like Terry, Rebecca and Sarah.

If you want to see more pics from the event, head over to ‪@Patreon‬ and support us! You’ll get exclusive behind-the-scenes access, special swag and more.

We really do need your help to keep making our amazing videos for you! So, if you want to see the hidden behaviors and unique survival skills of tiny animals, plants and fungi, become a monthly member on Patreon today!
