So you can go in your area on market Facebook marketplace and sometimes you can find people that are growing trees for a lot cheaper than the stores. I’ve done that myself I’ve picked up a Meyer tree from McMahon that is on Facebook marketplace known for him growing trees and he’s not far from me, so try that out also, I’ve been growing trees for a long time and I have a hack that I learned I don’t know 1015 years ago and it works so when you plant your tree in the ground, whether be rude or rooted as you’re making the whole make it a little bit bigger and add a PVC pipe to it so when you cover it all up Then you can direct feed it through the PVC pipe and I’m gonna tell you that made my I had this beautiful orchid tree that had purple orchids. I wish I can send you a picture I had it for about 20 years and until we got that hard, hard freeze and it missed it. Messed it up but people used to pass by my home and stop to take pictures of it. It was beautiful and it was a perfect rounded tree with the perfect purple orchids on it, I think I paid I can’t remember $20 it was small but when I put the PVC pipe Husband said that thing grew quick I have a pear tree on the other side and it grew quicker than the pear tree and I think I learn from some other old man that told me about that trick about the PVC pipe 2 inches put it down with the root and then when you feed it, you’re gonna direct feed it because you’re gonna put thewater hose in the PVC pipe

All of it. Hope to get some decent growth on fruit tree sticks this year. Take off winter coverings soon and bird netting on them. Hoping to make my own sweet potato slips in pots now. Jar method in water and toothpicks were big fails. No real starts til May here and not enough time to grow some things fully so rather start myself. A 4 pack is still 1.25 and a deal on a full flat but the starts are small when I like to grow a lot to put up for winter. Winter squash still good and seed potatoes I saved. My question is how did a potato end up by my fire pit? Was burning branches and there was a potato.😆

Do you have a local feed store that sells some of those things as well because a lot of times the local feed stores sells items that are perfect for your area. You know like onion sets and potato seed I’m going to the local one that I have today.
